Writing on paper vs. Writing on a computer.

Writing on paper or writing on a computer are very different, when I write on paper I feel more sure of what I write but when I write on a computer I feel more inspiration and I can write infinitely, I can change things easily, I can erase and write my ideas in a short time ; If you ask me which one I prefer anyway, it would be computer.
For some people it's more easy and exciting write on paper, It may be because it is a classic way and as when write a letter is more personal and have more feelings. But for other people write on a computer it’s more easy because there are keys deleted, shortcuts, etc. that make you whole process easier, and maybe these person feel the same way like me, maybe can be explain better or they can be more creative.
Writing on paper or writing on a computer both have their advantages and also prefer the two, only it depends on the occasion and what I write.

How I study for a test

When I’ve estudy for a test sometime I listen classic music after begins study, but for start studying,  I have a list that I make:

1. have a place to study
2. clean and tidy this place
3. look for the books and copybooks that I will use
4. see I have everything you need to start like pencil, pen, eraser, highlighter, etc.
5. and finally start studying

When I start studying I take my book and look that was what I did the last classes, after I take a copybook  and I write  new notes and I make a summary.

One of the all thing that I do when I study is listen music, this music depends on what I'm studying, for example when I study something in English I listen classic music and when I studied something in Spanish  I listen k-pop (korean music).  Also is very important have a break of 15 minutes and eat something for to recover the energy lost when studying.

We watch two octopuses falling in love, they lived on aquarium in a fish shop until one day a buyer take her; and here begins difficult story that the octopus had to deal.

After the seller take out the female octopus from her aquarium the male octopus began a plan to  rescue ladylove; he decided rescue leaved the aquarium and deal all risks.

First, the male octopus left the aquarium “walking” and holding to the truck until rescue her but this not work because the buyer started hitting but while the buyer hit the octopus he lost the control of  truck, and both octopuses fall from the truck to the street. But the story does not ending there, the octopuses “walks” to a little wall and they climb and jump into a pool, and jump to another pool, and again; while the buyer followed in his truck on the road that was next to the pool trying hunt, and a moment the buyer achieves to capture, but he again lost the control of the truck, but in this time the octopuses achieves drive hard together, and the men fell into the sea. If you thought that octopuses finally have a happy ending, waiting for the end.

After octopuses drive hard the hands of the buyer fall to a rope stretched between two houses, but there comes a bird and taken to the male octopus.

In this story we can see that love it is also in animals; while you feel love nothing is impossible. If we love someone we do not let go.

Final reflections

During all this semester I really learned a lot and enjoyed this subject. One of my favourite’s things to do is write. So the fact that we have the liberty to write what we want was amazing and at the same time nerve wrecking cause I’m very shy with my write.

Also this subject was very interactive. We have never had classes in the laboratory’s or classes by online were the teacher helps us by a chat.

Lastly I really can see a difference between my first grade and the last. And obviously the way I write now it’s not the same at the beginning. I’m more confidence now.

This last activity was fun and I think is good that we can see the work of our classmates and give a feedback.

How did I learn to speak english?

I learned to speak English mostly by music. My teachers of English were not motived when they teach the students so no one was really interesting with the subject. I was one of them. My best friend at that time Vanessa always listed to English music, she wasn’t into any music in Spanish. So one day she complain about my music style, I said that if she doesn’t liked it she should show me some songs and maybe I can change my mind. So in that exact moment she show me a song of Avril Lavigne and I really liked. After that day I started to look for more songs on my own. The problem for me it’s that I didn’t understand what they were saying. I wanted to know all the meanings of the words, so I watched videos in YouTube with subtitles and as time goes by my vocabulary expanded so much. Movies and series are a good way to learn more vocabulary and for the pronunciation.

Nowadays there are still words that I don’t know but I think that’s the fun part of English. You learn something different every day.

Reflections

During this second semester I really enjoyed this class; it was fun and always pushed us to be more confident about our writing.  I also realized that it doesn’t matter if I wrote a word wrong or if the context is not clear at the beginning because now I know that I can follow a process until it’s correct. I particularly loved when we had to write something really quickly and don’t mind about the mistakes, because it was the opportunity to put my mind in the clouds and just write the first thing that comes to my mind.

How to study for a test – tips.

Talking about myself, it results me so difficult to concentrate when I’m studying. I like doing it—to study, but I get distracted so easy. Something similar happens to you? What about putting your cellphone in a very secret place? Watch out your study environment and keep all the distractions away! No television, no video games, etc.

It’s very important that you keep focus on your copybook or just the material that with you will be studying. There are many tips in order to help you with your training before a test. For example: eating properly, drinking a lot of water (avoiding caffeine) and making you sure to getting plenty of rest before studying because If you do not eat, do not sleep well, you're not going to do any good and you only going to get stressed. You must be strong, right? of course!  Make it fun and do not study a day before the test; studying too many things and having problems to understand something won’t be bad because you can (you must) ask for help and try to understand what you are studying with calm, in a pacific way with many days in advance.

It's necessary to write a list of all the things you need to study and make a study plan; plain your time. I’ve read the best way to study is to focus for between 40 and 90 minutes, and take a 10 minutes’ break.  And remember: study in order to learn, and never stop to learn. Don’t worry and always think you can do it, because you’re smart and always attend to classes.

The languages in my life and how I see it.

I think that living in this world knowing just your own language isolates you from the amazing things that you can experience knowing other languages, you can’t experience fully a song in another language if you don’t know the words, or read a book from the original script, and it’s not the same watching movies and series with the subtitle all the time or dubbed.

Learning English it can be  lot  easier than other languages, because is everywhere, is one of the most spoken language, so you will find the majority of foreign books translated to English first, or the movies or the signs from the cities, so if you look it from this perspective, it can be more accessible than others. But as all the things, it can be difficult for some people and easier for others, it helps if people have been learning the language since they  were little, although it’s really important your motivation for learning.

Studying English it’s amazing, when you learn the vocabulary and you get to express yourself better in a language that is not the native one, opens a lot of doors in your life, and it’s more comfortable.

I started to learn English at 13, before that,  I was really bad  at it and I didn't know anything, but I listened to Demi Lovato and Justin Bieber and I really wanted to understand what they were saying, so one day, I print their lyrics in Spanish and English and with three dictionaries, I sat at my desk one summer and started learn everything I could, I put my cellphone in English, and all my social network, and that’s how I learned, no one pushed me to learn the language and that’s why everything was quickly and funny, I did not feel I had to learn for a note or school, I learned English because I was enjoying every second of it.

Final reflections:

I think that during this process I learned a lot of new stuff, not only about the process of writing also about how to use blogger, google drive, etc

Being able to do and access to classes via internet is a really good choice for students and teachers, is more comfortable, easy and fun.

The opportunity to work with our classmates and share ideas with them is also a nice way to learn more.

Speaking about my texts I saw a difference between the first one and the last one, I feel like I’m more confident about my writing.

The writing process in paper sometimes it’s a little bit more stressful than writing on the pc, because, you have to be sure about what you want or have to write and avoid all the mistakes.

The feedback of my classmates is a good way to know what they think about your work.

How did I learn to speak english?

I think is in my blood, since I’m little I always like it, my uncle was an english teacher, he was one of the persons who taught and encouraged me to learn this beautiful language.

I went to an english school “Iquique English College”, so I learned since I’m in 2º grade, the teachers were always there for us, answering questions and playing game with us.

Music is one of the reason why I wanted to learn english, I love anglo music, so one day I said to myself that I wanted to know what I was singing, the full meaning of the lyrics.

When I was like 11 I started to watch english films with english subtitles, thanks to that I learned a lot of vocabulary and the pronunciation of words.

When I was 13 I started to read english books, so I could learn more and more english.

I got the chance to practice my english in different countries in Europe, but the moment when I realized that English was what I wanted to do for life was when I was in London, England speaking with an old lady, and she thought I was an english native speaker.

In this short film by Susan Yung, Emily Buchanan and Esther Parobek, there is a story about two best friends a fridge and a human.

The fridge called Chillie, is an old fridge, he’s been there for his friends since a lot time ago, they’ve shared good moments together and they were really good friends.

One morning, the human went straight to Chillie and in that moment he realized that he was broken, the boy checked a paper with information about electronic devices and Chillie thought the worst.

Chillie left the house and ran away, he felt awful because his best friend was going to replace him with a new modern refrigerator.

After a few hours the boy went home and didn’t find Chillie, he freaked out and started to search everywhere to find Chillie.

He found him and showed him that he would never replace him, he wanted to fix him, at the end both of them come back at home.

This is a quite emotinal short film. Everyone should have a look at it.

It was a lovely and sunny day in Santorini, Greece, just a normal day in this paradise. No one could imagine that in that precious moment there will be a love story going on that any romantic hollywood movie will be jealous. 

There are a pink and a orange octopus and they seem to be in love with each other. They are hugging and holding in a fish tank that sadly for them is in a fish shop. They are so calm and living the moment when suddenly a mysterious hand grab the pink octopus leaving the orange one alone and confuse in the fish tank. The mysterious hand was the seller of the fish shop who grabbed the pink octopus to selling the octopus to a buyer who doesn't seem very nice and friendly. Before the buyer was in his car,  the orange octopus already had imagined all the things that his lovey will get through. He was so sad and mad that in just one second he was outside of the fish tank, running and running at his speed. Just when the Buyer was leaving the fish shop, the orange octopus throw himself to the car and hold on tight for his life. On this beautiful day no one will imagined that this octopus was risking his life to save his loved one. The car was so fast that even for the octopus was hard to grab himself but he made it to the window of the co-pilot, but just one second later the buyer realized that the octopus was there. He was surprised and scared when he see him that this tough man let out a scream. The buyer started to trying to hit the octopus, but the orange admirer was more fast than him that he wasn't able to hit him even once. The angry man was so concentrated to hurt the octopus that he didn't realize the road. The car was out of control that in just some seconds he crashed with tables and chairs that were on the road. With all the movement the pink Octopus was already out of the box and while the buyer was concentrated to kill the orange octopus he didn't realize that his biggest problem was inside the car with him. Just when you think that the lovely birds are finally free, the Buyer wakes up and seems more furious than before. Before the Buyer could catch them again, the octopus started a race from pool to pool with their biggest target the ocean; but the buyer without any pronostic appear again and grab both of them again. It seems like finally it's the end for the lovers but as always the force of love can do anything and as a last tactic they painted him with purple ink, causing him to lose control once again and fall on the sea.

Hanging from a hanger, they thought that finally they were safe and sound, but as a sign that maybe they shouldn't be together, a seagull takes the orange octopus and fly away with it. Now the roles are changing and it's time for the pink octopus to show her love.

"Blame on the rabbits"

Since Brianna was a child , she always adored spending time with animals, it didn’t matter what animal it was, she would have a great time, but her house was not big at all to have animals inside so, her parents only let her have fishes; her first fish was it call, Danielle, it was a clownfish and then, when it died, she had Eleonor, and so on and so far. Everybody used to know her, for her love to animals, and in the school she was part of the group  “A little love for a little Dog”, she remember those times with big affection, because she would do anything for them and she was happy, so she makes a promise to herself that when she’ll get married she would have all the animals that she always wanted.

Years later, she met Ian , they both were 25 and it was wonderful everyday, he knew how much her girlfriend loves animals and he also likes them, so it was the perfect couple. They had a lot on common and Patrick decided to propose to her, that's how they after a year of knowing each other, make the promise to love each other for all of their lives.

Their wedding took place at the beach, where the guests could hear the birds and the waves, everything was calm and they loved each other, but the promise that they made that day, to love and respect each other no matter what, started to falling apart two years later.

                                                           Two Years Later  

Brianna was excited, she woke up really early and  went straight to have breakfast, got in the car and drove to the local farm. Two days ago she saw in the newspaper that the local farm was giving away rabbits, it was her chance to finally have some of them in her home.

After three long hours, she got them, they were ten, little cute white rabbits, she fell in love with them since the moment she saw them.

• Look what I got ! - Brianna said with an exciting voice.

Ian was in the couch watching tv, he didn’t pay attention to his wife, then a strange furry thing jumped in front of him, he screamed really loud.

• What the hell?! what is that?! - Ian shouted
• Well… let me introduce you the new members of the family. Yay!-
• What? How many are they?- Ian asked.
• I mean just 10 of them.
• Are you crazy Brianna?! We can´t keep them.
• Why not?! They just gave it to me! as a gift! And we can take care of them, I mean, with love all is possible.
• Yes, but love doesn't give you money. It'll cost a fortune to take care of them. Plus, they reproduce so fast!
• I don’t care, you know? It looks like you are jealous because you’re thinking I won't pay attention to you. -She grabbed her rabbits and kiss them.
• Of course i'm not jealous! Just have some common sense Brianna!
• Yeah, sure… -Brianna left the room and walks away. -Today you have to prepare the lunch by yourself, I’ll be very busy to help you.
• Brianna i'm talking seriously, if you want to keep the rabbits keep them far from here.
• What?! If someone have to leave, that is you. This is my house. I bought it with my own money.

And then, the situation became completely out of control. Both were so mad and at that point Brianna and Ian forgot all the feelings and love they had for each other. Ian knew that Brianna was really angry and he was feeling afraid of losing the house that he had worked all that time.

• You see Ian, you knew how I was before we get married. You know how much I love animals and you tell me you loved animals too. Live with it.
• I’ll not leave this house. I worked so hard for everything we had.
• My babies are going to stay here, make your decision.
• Brianna!! I’m not leaving!
• Well i’ll call the police in this case.

Brianna went to call the police and Ian desperated grabbed a bottle of wine he was drinking and without thinking twice hit his wife behind her back. Brianna fainted at that instant and Ian was in a completely shock. He didn't mean to kill his wife, it was just a fight that got out of his hands.

Ian really loved Brianna. At the end he called the police by himself, not because he was just having a fight with her wife but because he killed her. And it was all blame of some rabbits.

The black hole and the temptation.

You are in your office one morning at, I don’t know, at 6 a.m. o’clock. There’s nobody else but you, because your alarm clock woke up you earlier than the other days and, as a consequence, you arrived very early to work (the thing that you never noticed until the end was that it supposed you have no attend to the office because it was Sunday. Silly you). 
Feeling a little bit confused because the lack of co-workers, you walked into the little kitchen to drink some coffee, then you wanted to advance your work and went ahead to the copy machine, but for a strange reason it didn’t work; it seemed to have a paper jam. You pressed the red button like three times, but nothing happened. You kicked the machine and a paper with a black hole in the middle appears in front of your eyes (your very wide open eyes), you quickly asked yourself ‘’what-is-this? Trash, for sure…’’ But that was not trash at all; at the moment when you put away the paper, you casually put your coffee cup on the black hole and it immediately disappeared. ‘’What-was-that!,’’ you rubbed your eyes by the impression and you tried to find the coffee cup into the black hole, having success in that. You examined the paper thousands times and suddenly you feel very happy when you realized all the things you would be able to do with that piece of magic paper. Sadly, you didn’t analyze well the actual situation, you were so excited for that.
You went straight to the safe's room in order to open the safe boxes and stole all the money.

It wasn’t sufficient for you introduce only your hand into the black hole, no, you had to introduce your whole body. 
But, things are not always as they seem; what appeared to be a black hole turned out into a worm hole with no point of return. Then surprise! Actually, you're trapped forever.

Finally, you woke up.
The alarm clock was ringing just on time to work.

Love can be found even in the strangest places on Earth, and sadly for this little couple of octopuses, love appeared in a fish tank, but they knew that their love was strong and it would remain in time. They were everything for each other, and they promised to be together no matter what because when your love is that big, you can not do a anything without your lover.

Pink and orange were always together, sharing their love with no shame, they belonged to each other and they both knew that. Suddenly a rude hand grabbed them and only one came back to the fish tank, and without knowing how or why, they were brutally  separated.

The pink octopus was sold to a restaurant with special dishes of octopus, and the orange one knew that if she didn't do anything for the love of her life, he would die,  so she rapidly made a plan. She jumped out of the fish tank, and quickly tried to reach the car that was leaving with her lover.

In the streets of Greece, where everything is white and blue, the orange octopus couldn't be undercover, but she clings to the green car and goes straight to the box to free the pink octopus, half way into the plan, the driver discovers her, and with all his strength tries to throw her off the car losing control of it and swaying dangerously, and like a team, the pink octopus stopped the car and both were ejected from the vehicle.

With the help of each other, they started the escape, from pool to pool they jumped with the ocean and a future together as their goal, but they still weren't able to lose the van's driver and suddenly, without any warning, they were once again in the hands of the driver, and as a last thought of survival they painted him with purple ink, causing the van to fall into the sea with the driver in it

Hanging from a hanger, they thought that finally they were free but a seagull takes the orange octopus and flies away with it. Now, it was time of the pink octopus to save her,, what do you think, he saved her or not?.

Recently one of my favorite group of Kpop launched two new albums that together creates one story  about the things that we face in our daily basis.

These albums mean about the teenager’s life, with everything that carries with it. We make mistakes like every person in this world.

In this album there are three songs that has a story inside, about how we face the life, the changes like from teenagers to adults.

Artist to watch:  TWENTY ØNE PILØTS

If you have Tumblr then you have probably already heard about this band, but if you haven’t hear or read in any social media, what or who is , Twenty One Pilots, don't worry, I'll tell you.

In 2009 “Twenty One Pilots” was formed from three college friends, in the present Tyler Joseph, ( the guy with the red beanie, yes he is not Willy Wonka) is the only member left of the original members, the weird guy who is trying to smile/scare people with his head dyed red is Josh Dun, joined on 2011, but who are they?.

Josh is the drummer of the band, and Tyler sings and play the guitar or the ukelele depending on the song. They both write the lyrics of their songs, and they are pretty poetical

The kind of music that Josh and Tyler have created is not easy to define in one gender, they cross between rap to pop.  They use in a moment  melody of piano  and suddenly they put drums, they mix a lot, but it surely works.

Even though they look like an “emo awkward band” they are way too funny and silly, if you don’t believe me, you should go and search for a video of their vines compilations on youtube, trust me, they are not what they look like.

The boom of the band was this year when they released  their second album called Blurryface, signed by Fueled by Ramen on May 15,  and sold over 134,000 in the first week. This album was their first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200.
